In this ceramics project, I used color to separate the surface detail.
This tall form is 3" tall and 2" wide. It is a tall cylinder that goes slightly inwards as it goes up. The surface has a spiral indent running up the cylinder, along with a handle to make it a cup. It is glazed with turquoise matt in the spiral and dark blue for the rest of the cup which makes the indent easier to see.
The glazes of my cup are color coordinated so it is pleasing to the eye (not busy).
